Tina Kyle - Director

Tina Kyle, a native of Kingston, Ontario has been dancing for 28 years.  Throughout her dance career she has acquired extensive training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Pointe, Acrobatics, Hip Hop, Modern, Musical Theatre and is professionally accredited with the B.A.T.D.  She has used this knowledge to teach amateur and professional dancers various disciplines at the Quinte Ballet School, Guest Teacher in Academic Programs throughout the school board and as owner and operator of her dance studio “TK Danceworx Inc.”  Tina has performed and choreographed theatrical productions such as “Annie” and “Kiss me Kate” and has won numerous Solo, Duet/Trio and Group Choreography awards in competitions throughout Canada and the USA. 

Tina’s main passion is teaching to all levels of dancers.  Her students have won overall awards as well as “Elite Soloist Titles”, “Most Potential Dancer”, “High Score Routines” and “All Around Soloist” at competitions.  Her students have performed with Dan Karaty and the New York City Rockettes; performed at Universal Studio’s, the television show “Talent Time”, The Orange Bowl half time show in Florida, Britney Spears Perfume Launch; performed in “Ballet Jorgen’s – The Nutcracker” and the award winning “Mary Lamberts Pajama Party DVD” and has been showcased at Paramount Canada’s Wonderland.  Tina has also trained dancers which have won North American dance Scholarships, and have qualified and attended International scholarships in London, England. She has had students further their dance careers at the “Royal Winnipeg Ballet” and professional dance programs at York University and George Brown College.

Through her passion and love for dance Tina hopes to motivate and inspire dancers to be the best they can be.  It is her goal to instill positive and healthy attitudes in young aspiring dancers.
